The Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU) is pleased to host its 2^nd Regional Meeting for Residents in Urology, taking place November 20–22, in conjunction with the 33^rd Annual Meeting of the Chinese Urological Association (CUA).

This meeting aims to bring together residents and early-career urologists from around the world, including a strong contingent from across China, for a two-day meeting specifically designed for them. The programme features a unique format that encourages the active participation of residents and early career urologists through discussions, semi-live presentations, and opportunities to exchange ideas with faculty and peers.

Participants can also attend the broader scientific programme of the CUA Annual Meeting, as well as explore an exhibit hall showcasing emerging technologies that are shaping the future of urology. At a time when China is experiencing remarkable technological advancement in areas such as digital health, artificial intelligence, and surgical innovation, hosting this meeting in Wuhan—an important centre for science, education, and innovation—provides a fitting setting to reflect on the future of our specialty.

This meeting demonstrates the SIU and CUA’s commitment to supporting the education and development of residents and early-career urologists worldwide by creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, and international exchange, to help prepare the next generation of urologists to lead the continued advancement of our field.
